Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Singing River Health System. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with physicians to deliver high-quality healthcare services to patients with complex acute, critical, and chronic health conditions.
Responsibilities- Deliver healthcare services to patients within their scope of certification and education.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their healthcare needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address patient needs.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and disease management.
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Mississippi State Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current certification in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Acute Geriatric Nurse Practitioner.
- One year of advanced nursing experience preferred.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of healthcare professionals. The work involves sitting with frequent requirements to move about the office, move about the facility, and to travel to another facility within the SRHS service area.
Physical DemandsThe work involves exerting a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The work also involves using many physical motions in performing daily work activities, subject to exposure of body fluids, sputum, and tissues, which may carry the hazard of infectious disease.
Mental DemandsThe successful candidate must demonstrate keen mental faculties/assessment and decision-making abilities. They must also demonstrate superior communication/speaking/enunciation skills to receive and give information in person and by telephone.
