Position Summary:
We are looking for 20 Aircraft Painter C's to join our team in North Charleston, SC. This role requires a commitment to working 100% onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute painting tasks on aircraft sections according to customer specifications and unique design requirements.
- Ensure aircraft readiness for exterior finishing.
- Create necessary patterns, perform layout, and apply specified primers, paints, and finishes to the aircraft's exterior.
- Prepare the exterior surfaces of aircraft for painting.
- This is a non-managerial, non-leadership position.

Essential Requirements:
- Successful completion of training is mandatory for this assignment.

Required Qualifications:
- Willingness to work any assigned shift, including overtime.
- Must wear fall protection gear, safety equipment, and masks.
- A minimum of three years of direct aerospace painting experience is required.
- Candidates lacking aerospace painting experience will not be considered.
- At least three years of painting experience in aircraft, automotive, or general painting is necessary.
- Experience working at heights and using fall protection equipment is essential.
- Ability to complete fall protection training.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with clients in the aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with electrostatic handguns.
- Experience operating lift equipment.
- Ideally, candidates should have over five years of aerospace painting experience.

Paint Experience:
- Knowledge of adhesive materials and processes.
- Understanding of color matching, paint formulation, and application techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of shop processes, including Foreign Object Damage prevention and material handling.
- Familiarity with material processing for metals, polymers, composites, and electronic materials.
- Understanding of organic chemical processes related to painting.

Working Conditions:
- Ability to lift less than 25 pounds, with occasional lifting of 21-35 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, twist, walk, crawl, crouch, stand for extended periods, kneel, reach, climb, and balance.
- Exposure to sealants, solvents, and noise while working on elevated platforms.
- Personal protective gear is required for face, eyes, ears, hands, and arms.
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Handling and disposal of hazardous materials is necessary.

Education:
- An accredited education typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED) and at least four years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Work Schedule:
- Must be available to work variable shifts.
