Join Our Team as a Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Johns Creek Dental Excellence. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional oral health care to our patients.

About the Role

  • Providing thorough and gentle dental cleanings to patients of all ages
  • Conducting oral health screenings and taking radiographs as needed
  • Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans to promote optimal oral health
  • Collaborating with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current dental hygienist license in Georgia
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a dental hygienist
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • A desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
