Position Overview:
As the Lead Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily maintenance operations across various sectors, including bottling, processing, and facility management.
Your responsibilities will encompass providing electrical and PLC programming support as required, collaborating closely with the Maintenance & Reliability Manager to prioritize tasks for Line Mechanics, emphasizing safety, quality, and productivity.
In this role, you will:
- Champion the facility's safety initiatives through effective project management and maintenance planning.
- Ensure that safety measures are integrated into every project, with diligent supervision alongside Team Leads.
- Support the training and execution of maintenance tasks to uphold operational excellence.
- Maintain a minimum of 95% plant uptime through proactive maintenance strategies and systems control.
- Adhere to Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and Environmental Policies.
- Develop and track detailed Preventive Maintenance schedules for bottling and plant operations.
- Manage parts inventory to ensure availability and cost-effectiveness, working with vendors to optimize on-site resources.
- Provide constructive feedback and development plans for direct reports to foster professional growth.
- Engage in initiatives to enhance workplace culture based on employee feedback.
- Utilize the Career Development System to identify training needs and prepare for future opportunities within the organization.
Qualifications:
We seek candidates with strong planning and organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and familiarity with beverage processing equipment. Hands-on electrical experience, particularly with Allen Bradley PLC programming, is essential, along with the ability to troubleshoot equipment effectively.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate industrial equipment, and work in environments with high noise levels. Candidates should be comfortable working 10-hour shifts and navigating various physical tasks.
