Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida offers a range of programs and services tailored for children and families.

This role, part of the Neighborhood Center for Families Program, is primarily focused on:

  • Delivering therapeutic services to children and families within a community-centered framework.
  • Implementing intensive interventions, evaluating clients, and developing personalized multidisciplinary treatment strategies.
  • Providing guidance and training to parents on therapeutic methods and behavioral strategies.
  • Collaborating with treatment team members and case managers; offering on-call support for crisis situations on a scheduled basis.

Position Details:

_Compensation:_ The starting salary for this position is $49,500 annually, with adjustments based on relevant qualifications and experience.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Qualifications

Education and Licensure:

  • A Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology _is required_
  • Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida _is preferred_

Experience:

  • A minimum of two years' experience working directly with children, adolescents, and families, or related experience under the supervision of a licensed clinician _is preferred_

Additional Requirements:

  • A valid Driver's license
  • Ability to complete a three-day new hire orientation class (Monday - Wednesday); hours are approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day
  • Willingness to meet clients in community settings.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment medical screenings, including a Drug Test and TB Test.
