As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless settlement of DTC trades, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving process improvements.

With a strong background in securities operations, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals, overseeing daily operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fail report validation, research, and distribution
  • Firm funding management for DTC
  • Settlement of all DTC trades
  • Compliance with Rule 204 and short sale settlement monitoring
  • Buy-in management
  • End-of-day balancing for DTC
  • Processing corporate buybacks via DWACs

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing process improvements
  • Handling audit inquiries
  • Managing and reviewing key processing for accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborating with other manager team members on strategic initiatives
  • Handling key escalations
  • Supervising team members as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7-10 years of experience in securities operations
  • Proficiency in DTCC Settlement Web, DTCC Portal, BPS/ADP/GFW, and Microsoft Suite
  • Knowledge of Loanet and additional system knowledge a plus

The compensation package for this role includes a competitive base salary range of $115,000 to $145,000, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
