Triangle Remodeling is seeking an experienced Framing Carpenter to join our skilled construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in framing, with a strong focus on quality and safety. This role will involve working on a variety of residential and commercial remodeling projects, building the structural framework that forms the foundation for our work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and schematics to frame buildings.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials to build walls, floors, and roof structures.
- Install framing components such as floor joists, wall studs, and roof trusses.
- Ensure all work is completed to code and meets company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Use hand and power tools safely and maintain equipment in good condition.
- Ensure job site cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot construction issues and propose solutions to maintain project timelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in framing and carpentry.
- Proven ability to read blueprints and work with construction plans.
- Knowledge of building codes and construction safety standards.
- Physical stamina to work in various conditions and lift heavy materials.
- Familiarity with framing tools and materials, including hand and power tools.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational training in carpentry or construction (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (preferred).
