Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in a travel capacity. This role requires a commitment to excellence in patient care and imaging services.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from AHA, ARC, or Military.
  • BLS: Basic Life Support certification is mandatory for OR Techs/Surgical Techs.
  • Additional certifications may be necessary based on specific job requirements.
Job Details
  • Eligibility: Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the central facility.
  • Position: MRI Technologist.
  • Shift: 3x12's Nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday; holidays as assigned).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years required for travelers.
  • Hospital Experience: Experience in a large hospital setting (level I or level II Trauma preferred).
  • Scanners: Responsible for both outpatient and inpatient exams.
  • Variety of Exams: Proficient in conducting a wide range of scans, including cardiac, breast, and brain imaging.
  • Team Environment: Work alongside 12 or more technologists during regular staffing.
  • Support Staff: Radiology nurses available in MRI 24/7.
  • Technology: Familiarity with EPIC EMR and standard charcoal grey scrubs.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience for travelers.
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • ODH Radiologic License or registration with a national MRI registry (e.g., ARRT (MR), ARMRIT).
  • BLS Certification is required.
Schedule Information

Shift: 3x12's Nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday; holidays as assigned).

Unit Specific Information
  • Position: MRI Technologist.
  • Comp Exam: Unit Specific Competency Exam required within one year of employment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in a team of 12 or more technologists during normal staffing.
  • Solo Work: This position does not require working alone.
