Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Landscape Maintenance Technician. This role is essential in ensuring the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily collection of refuse from multiple residential units.
  • Maintain cleanliness of designated areas by emptying waste receptacles and transporting waste to disposal sites.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing floors in common areas.
  • Ensure storage areas and cleaning carts are organized and well-maintained.
  • Complete necessary documentation and work orders as required.
  • Regularly inspect shared spaces to uphold cleanliness and visual appeal, including painting as needed.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in optimal working condition.
  • Clear debris from driveways, garages, and pool areas.
  • Wash and maintain outdoor surfaces, including walls and ceilings.
  • Report maintenance issues such as burnt-out lights or leaks to the appropriate department.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to protect residents and property, reporting any incidents or damages to supervisors.
  • Utilize new equipment properly and follow established safety procedures.
Work Environment

This position involves exposure to various outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levels.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to navigate stairs and transport waste in a hot and humid environment.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to handle and manipulate cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Proficiency in moving quickly around the property to fulfill job duties.
  • Capacity to manage heavy loads while navigating stairs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and wrists.
  • Experience working with chemical cleaning agents.
Work Schedule

Work hours will be determined based on the needs of the property, with flexibility to accommodate business requirements.

Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience in groundskeeping or janitorial services.
  • Familiarity with cleaning and sanitation products.
  • Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Supervision

This position reports directly to the department supervisor.
