Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Autumn View Health Care Facility. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and treatment to long-term and rehabilitation residents.
  • Assess and document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans.
  • Initiate and administer intravenous treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Communicate effectively with the nursing team, medical team, and patients' families to ensure seamless care.
  • Review and evaluate patient care plans to ensure they meet individual needs and goals.
  • Transcribe physician orders and assist in orienting new staff members.
  • Maintain competency in all site-specific tasks required by the facility.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure (RN).
  • Experience in long-term care facility preferred.
  • Able to interpret patient information and make critical decisions about necessary actions.
  • Ability to supervise and work well with other healthcare personnel, residents, and their families.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindness.
  • Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
