Room Attendant

Position Summary: The individual in this role is accountable for the thorough cleaning of guest accommodations and communal areas within the hotel, upholding our high standards to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality is advantageous
• Strong customer service orientation

Additional Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a criminal background check is required

Core Responsibilities:

• Receive room assignments from the housekeeping supervisor
• Execute cleaning tasks for guest rooms in accordance with established protocols
• Adhere to procedures for entering guest rooms
• Inspect rooms for any damage to furnishings and equipment
• Restock supplies on the cleaning cart at the end of each shift and return it to the designated storage area
• Maintain the cleanliness of the housekeeping cart and storage areas
• Report any maintenance issues or deficiencies in guest rooms to the engineering team
• Stay vigilant for potential hazards and consistently practice safety measures
• Follow procedures for lost and found items
• Deliver top-notch service to guests to ensure a memorable stay
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures for guests and staff
• Immediately report any unusual incidents or requests to a supervisor
• Follow proper key management protocols
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions
