Manufacturing Process Technician (Friday-Sunday/6 pm to 6:30 am)

Job Description:

At Entegris, we are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and assessing manufacturing processes, training others to do the same, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical ability, excellent machine troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role requires the ability to perform equipment setup, operation, shutdown, and other associated process steps, as well as train and certify engineers, techs, and operators on process operations.

You will also be responsible for analyzing process and test data, determining necessary actions to achieve desired quality, yield, and efficiency, and aiding engineering in manufacturing continuous improvement and new product introduction.

Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and communicating the status of development work orders, troubleshooting and identifying potential solutions for mechanical errors, safety issues, or general operating inefficiencies, and utilizing computer systems to support material inventory movement, process transactions, and quality management processes.

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, good organization, communication skills, and the ability to lead and direct other team members.

They will also be able to work in a team environment and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, identify and implement corrective actions, and create and update Standard Operating Procedures.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional college or technical coursework preferred
  • Self-starter capable of dealing with a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Must be proficient in English language to be able to read documentation, communicate, and write
  • Ideal candidate will have keen eye for quality, is dependable, and will work collaboratively within a team, and possess a positive attitude
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding and proficient use of Excel and other software necessary to support engineering
  • Mathematics knowledge of basic arithmetic, algebra, and/or geometry

This job requires the ability to stand for long periods, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and move throughout the department/facility. Able to lift 50lbs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
