Position Overview:
The Clinical Supervisor for Social Skills is tasked with the design and execution of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs, ensuring quality oversight for designated cases within the Verbal Beginnings community, adhering to established clinical protocols. This role involves close collaboration with the Program Director to align with the organization's core values and strategic objectives.
About the Program:
Social Beginnings provides ABA-based social skills groups during after-school hours throughout the academic year. Participants engage in small group settings, utilizing a structured curriculum that emphasizes social skills development through the principles of ABA. Activities include direct instruction, structured play to reinforce newly acquired skills, and guided free play to facilitate the application of these skills in natural settings.

Compensation and Work Schedule:
- Hourly Rate: $95.00
- Supervision Opportunities: Potential for an additional $8,000 annually
- Work Hours: Part-Time, Monday to Thursday from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, with flexibility for a 2-day or 4-day schedule during the school year. Additional family training sessions may be required, with up to 10 billable hours per month available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients at all times.
- Deliver direct, supervisory, and consultative ABA services to assigned clients.
- Oversee all facets of clients' ABA programs, including:
- Conducting initial and ongoing assessments of skills and deficits, ensuring timely completion of assessments and reports.
- Developing and implementing tailored programming in accordance with each client's Treatment Plan.
- Monitoring and analyzing program data and client progress.
- Providing training and ongoing supervision to ABATs and RBTs involved with assigned clients, ensuring effective communication.
- Coordinating with caregivers and other service providers, maintaining regular communication regarding client progress.
- Ensure the effectiveness and appropriateness of assigned clients' programs.
- Document services rendered, including session details and descriptions of services provided.
- Participate in training and supervision meetings with management.
- Adhere to company and BACB guidelines consistently.
Program Functions:
- Conduct group screenings to assess therapeutic fit and clinical dosage of services.
- Develop and sustain the social curriculum for the after-school program.
- Provide supervisory oversight for the after-school program.
- Train and supervise staff during social skills groups.
- Assist management with assessments and reports related to social skills treatment.
- Collaborate with clinical and field teams for client-specific programming needs.
Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field is required.
- Must hold a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience in developing and implementing ABA-based social skills programs is preferred.
- Experience supervising RBTs in the implementation of ABA treatment programs.
- Completion of BCBA supervision training is necessary.
- Must possess a current state license in Maryland or be in the process of obtaining one.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
- Experience in addressing behavioral issues in children is essential.
- Proven experience in conducting family training on ABA treatment plans.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for collaboration are essential.
