About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Radiologic Technology Instructor to join our team at American Career College. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of Radiologic Technologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality instruction to students in radiologic technology, utilizing effective teaching methods and approved course syllabi.
  • Develop and implement daily lesson plans, provide academic advising and tutoring, and maintain accurate attendance and grade records.
  • Stay current in the field of radiologic technology and participate in faculty meetings, professional growth activities, and in-service training sessions.
  • Contribute to the college's activities, such as in-services, faculty meetings, student functions, graduation exercises, open houses, new student orientations, and advisory board meetings.
  • Strive for student success by providing quality instruction that results in students' achievement of course and program objectives, retention of students, and prepares students for entry-level positions in the healthcare field.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years of occupational experience in the subject field or closely related field, with two (2) years of full-time clinical experience in diagnostic radiography.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience in the subject areas taught or prior training in instructional methodology and teaching skills from a formal teacher educational program or comparable training program.
  • Baccalaureate degree.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography.
  • Current CRT permit (State of California certification).
  • Current CPR Card.
