Job Title: Library Assistant - Part-Time

Join the City of Ontario, CA team as a Library Assistant - Part-Time and contribute to the success of our community.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Ontario City Library. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, support library programs, and maintain a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patrons with reference questions and provide research assistance
  • Support library programs and events, including setup and cleanup
  • Maintain a clean and organized library environment, including shelving books and materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned by library staff
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent education in a related field
  • One year of library experience, or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Valid California Class 'C' driver's license and an acceptable driving record
