POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently in search of a dedicated individual to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. As a Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist, you will be instrumental in analyzing our financial performance and supporting our strategic initiatives. Your contributions will be vital in our monthly and quarterly financial planning and reporting cycles, collaborating closely with various departments across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the Senior Financial Analyst in updating operational expense templates and departmental KPI dashboards for month-end closing and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to review month-end closing details, ensuring accurate booking of operating expense accruals by department and general ledger classification.
  • Investigate and provide insights on any discrepancies between budgeted and actual operating expenses.
  • Work alongside department leaders to analyze vendor costs and verify the accuracy of billed invoices.
  • Assist in updating projections for sales, margins, and inventory receipts in collaboration with Planning and cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor invoices throughout the operational expense approval process to ensure alignment with budget and forecasts.
  • Prepare and assess financial projections for new vendors and technology platforms in partnership with department heads, ensuring these projections are integrated into the financial model.
  • Develop ad-hoc analyses using various data sources as required by department leaders and the Finance team.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Validate and reconcile invoices from external service providers.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of three years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to synthesize large datasets.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability to quickly shift priorities in response to changing business needs.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, apparel, or consumer sectors is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • This position requires onsite work during core business hours, Monday through Friday.
