Position Overview:

The firm is in search of an Engineering Manager to spearhead the development of their technology platform. The manager will play a crucial role in guiding the design and implementation of these systems while also mentoring fellow developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of the upcoming iteration of the internal technology platform
  • Design, develop, and sustain platform components, frameworks, and infrastructure
  • Create tools and processes for data acquisition, validation, organization, and storage
  • Support and mentor team members, ensuring exceptional standards of code quality

  • Implement and oversee CI/CD tooling and methodologies

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in software and data engineering
  • Strong proficiency in Python, including object-oriented programming
  • Expertise in relational databases and SQL
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift)
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud environments (preferably AWS), including security and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
  • Familiarity with automation and orchestration platforms (e.g., Airflow)
