Role Responsibilities: The Business and Contract Operations Coordinator will collaborate closely with Business Strategy and Contract Operations Leaders, ensuring seamless coordination of activities aligned with cross-Therapeutic Area research and operational objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating the End-to-End Contract process for designated functional areas, including gathering essential information from project leads and managing contract requests.
- Conducting thorough reviews of project proposals, ensuring accuracy in financial and contractual details.
- Coordinating the execution of contracts, obtaining necessary approvals from senior leadership.
Operational Support: The Coordinator will also play a vital role in supporting RECAP Concept reviews and HCC Operational Support:
- Engaging with project owners to submit project concepts for review and tracking system approvals.
- Coordinating HCC reviews for non-CPC projects, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
Financial Management: The role includes overseeing financial and budget tracking for projects, partnering with finance to manage reconciliations, invoices, and budget updates. Responsibilities encompass:
- Providing weekly project status reports and updates to finance.
- Collaborating with project managers to adjust project spending timelines.
- Managing financial accrual submissions on a quarterly basis.
Guidance and Support: The Coordinator will serve as a resource for scientific staff, offering guidance on company policies and troubleshooting issues. Identifying opportunities for process improvements will be essential.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess a minimum of 1 year of project management and process development experience, alongside at least 3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare sector. Familiarity with healthcare compliance and budget management is preferred. Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
