Advanced Practice Provider IV

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider IV to join our Emergency Medicine team at UF Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of programs and initiatives that improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the emergency department and other settings.
- Develop and implement comprehensive health management plans for patients, in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct high-level evaluation and triage, including patient histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Formulate and implement treatment plans, including ordering ancillary studies and medications.
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with established compliance and billing guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of programs and initiatives that improve patient outcomes.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or Nurse Practitioner program.
- 2 years of experience in critical care, labor and delivery, or emergency department settings.
- Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner License or Physician Assistant License required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and PALS certifications preferred.
