Loan Servicing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team at UMassFive College Federal Credit Union.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process loan applications, ensuring all necessary documents are received and accurate.
  • Communicate with borrowers and underwriters to fulfill documentation and stipulations.
  • Book loans into loan origination and core data processing systems.
  • Make general ledger disbursements and record equities with applicable Registry of Deeds.
  • Prepare closing documents and coordinate closings with branch staff and members.
  • Identify member needs and cross-sell all services of the Credit Union.
  • Sell protections for eligible direct loans and sell GAP and Extended Warranty products for direct auto loans.
  • Establish new accounts and ensure proper documentation in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, lending or financial experience preferred.
  • Computer proficiency is required.
  • Qualified candidate must be service and team-oriented, dependable and have exceptional communication skills.
Work Arrangements:
  • Full-time, 40 hours/week.
  • Flexible/Remote work arrangement with occasional requirement to commute to our office.

Compensation:

$25.00/hour
