Employment Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Employment Specialist to join our team at ServiceNet. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their career goals and overcome barriers to employment.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver vocational services to clients, including job development, job search, and skills building activities.
- Assess clients' vocational functioning and develop individualized plans to support their employment goals.
- Collaborate with other support services to provide wrap-around and follow-along supports to clients.
- Communicate with family members and other supports to gather input about clients' skills, interests, and strengths.
- Participate in Adult Clinical Community Support (ACCS) meetings to coordinate and integrate vocational services with ACCS.
- Employ trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, person-centered, culturally competent, and strengths-based approaches in your work.
- Provide thorough and timely documentation and data collection for all clients.
- Participate in counseling and supervision provided by experienced peers for continuous professional role competency development.
- Active listening skills and ability to understand and present information effectively.
- Verbal and written comprehension, with ability to present ideas in writing.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of different approaches.
- Ability to work well with diverse populations in diverse settings, building trust and supporting increased collaboration.
- Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential information.
- A college degree is preferred, but previous experience working with disabled populations in a vocational setting or demonstrated success in sales and marketing will be considered.
- Candidates skilled in speaking American Sign Language are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Travel is required, and a license and operable vehicle are necessary.
- $45,000 annual salary.
