Position Summary

The Retail Floor Lead plays a pivotal role in guiding the retail sales team, setting an example through exceptional customer engagement and embodying Vuori's core values. This position is essential in ensuring that our standards for sales and customer interactions are upheld. As a key member of the store leadership team, the Floor Lead oversees the retail space, takes initiative, delegates tasks, and serves as a reliable resource for both team members and management.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering Outstanding Customer Experiences

  • Collaborate with the sales team to guarantee every customer enjoys a superior shopping experience.
  • Assume responsibility for the sales floor and motivate the team to prioritize customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare fitting rooms, assist customers in finding sizes, and provide knowledgeable feedback on product styles and fits.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by discussing product details, informing them about new arrivals, and inviting them to special events.
  • Stay informed about trending products and share insights with both customers and team members.

Driving Business Success

  • Lead daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
  • Inspire the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets in a collaborative commission-based environment.
  • Enhance product knowledge within the fashion and activewear sectors to serve as a resource for customers.
  • Guide the team in executing projects while maintaining a focus on customer experience.
  • Communicate inventory requirements to support business objectives.

Leadership and Accountability

  • Partner with the Retail Store Manager to oversee daily operations, sales strategies, and team management to ensure smooth business functioning.
  • Supervise daily store upkeep, including restocking, visual merchandising, and cleanliness.
  • Exercise diligence and adherence to safety protocols during store opening and closing procedures.
  • Encourage team members to demonstrate commitment, punctuality, and responsibility in their roles.
Qualifications
  • Availability for morning and/or evening shifts, working 8-hour days, 5 days a week, including at least one weekend day.
  • A minimum of 1 year of professional leadership experience (retail preferred, but other leadership experiences are considered).
  • Demonstrated reliability in attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Expertise in customer service, creating memorable experiences, and proactively addressing customer concerns.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick learner with a positive attitude towards feedback and personal growth.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $19-$21 + team-based commission
