Shipping Clerk

Job Summary:
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all items shipped from the Branded Product Division are accurately processed and delivered to customers. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and pack products for shipping according to scheduled dates or instructions from the Shipping Supervisor
• Verify that orders and shipping quantities match sale order documents
• Assist in resolving any discrepancies and initiate shipping documents for domestic and international shipments
• Answer and document tracer inquiries via email and/or fax
• Maintain accurate records of outgoing shipments and update the system accordingly
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED desired
• Reading, writing, basic math, keyboard, and telephone skills required
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP software
• Experience in shipping (i.e. packing, crating, billing, etc.) is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
Working Conditions:
• Warehouse environment with frequent walking, standing, handling, and occasional crouching and stooping
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility
• Lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs.
