The Chief will report directly to the Director of St. Luke's Cancer Center and will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of 26 providers in Hematology and Medical Oncology. Key responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, physician recruitment, development and performance assessment, operational and financial oversight, quality performance management, customer service enhancement, and clinical outcome improvement.

About St. Luke's Cancer Center and the Hematology/Oncology Division

  • St. Luke's Cancer Center serves a diverse population exceeding 1.5 million individuals across multiple counties. Our specialists manage over 5,000 new patient cases annually, providing clinical services across 14 hospitals and 9 outpatient centers, including 9 infusion and 4 radiotherapy facilities.
  • The Hematology and Oncology Division has a longstanding reputation for delivering state-of-the-art clinical care, currently comprising 12 physicians and 14 advanced practitioners.
  • St. Luke's Cancer Center has recently established ACGME-accredited Fellowships in Hematology/Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology.
  • The multidisciplinary team at St. Luke's Cancer Center includes specially trained professionals such as genetic counselors, patient navigators, and nurse navigators, dedicated to guiding and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
