Job Summary

Provides safe, efficient, and age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process to assist them in achieving, maintaining, regaining, and sustaining optimal health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Functions in accordance with the professional standards of the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • Completes and submits required documentation.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery, resulting in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
  • Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
  • Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing.
  • Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse program or Medical Assisting program.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience (Level II only).
  • Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to use a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies.
