SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is between $65,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Saint Joseph East in Lexington, Kentucky. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities- Care Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and develop personalized care plans to ensure effective treatment and recovery.
- Medication Administration: Safely and accurately administer medications to patients, taking into account their medical history, allergies, and current condition.
- Patient Education: Provide patients and their families with education and support to promote health literacy and self-care.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution;
- A current Registered Nurse license in the state of Kentucky;
- At least two years of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting;
- BLS and ACLS certifications;
- Specialty certifications required based on unit specifications.
