Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our organization. This role requires:

  • Designing complex mechanical systems and solutions using multiple fabrication and material methods
  • Overseeing product development from design and development through implementation, monitoring progress and status, and reporting to management
  • Evaluating mechanical designs for potential flaws and suggesting modifications to eliminate problems
  • Preparing assembly or product layouts and detailed drawings, participating in the manufacture or building of prototype products, and ensuring quality standards are met

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field
  • Strong fundamentals in core engineering concepts, including solid mechanics, materials science, and fluid dynamics
  • Proven experience with product development and the entirety of the product life cycle
  • Proficiency with CAD and finite element analysis software, such as SolidWorks and FEMAP
