About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at SSOE, where you will have the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art industrial and manufacturing facilities for leading companies. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and execute large-scale mechanical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with budget, schedule, quality standards, and interdisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership in interpreting, organizing, and executing large-scale mechanical engineering projects.
  • Strategize and execute engineering projects to tackle unique or challenging issues, leveraging specialized expertise in a specific engineering field.
  • Maintain professional communication with individuals within and outside the firm and make decisions on technical matters about the chosen field.
  • Plan, organize, supervise, and review the work of a team of engineers and designers collaborating on the same assigned project.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and professional registration are required.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience with SSOE as an Engineer 5, or same educational and registration requirements with twelve (12) or more years of related practical experience with former employer(s).
  • Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.
  • $145,000-$160,000/year salary depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
