Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver maintenance support to guarantee the safe and effective functioning of machinery and personnel.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance and address emergency mechanical or electrical issues.
  • Troubleshoot various types of plant equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Utilize knowledge and troubleshooting skills to maintain production equipment effectively.
  • Collaborate with plant personnel to achieve operational goals.
  • Minimize equipment downtime through proactive measures.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals accurately.
  • Work with pumps, hydraulic systems, and welding tasks.
  • Exhibit a foundational understanding of electrical theory, wiring systems, and installation practices.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Preferred candidates will have at least one year of maintenance experience or relevant education (e.g., industrial maintenance diploma or enrollment in a technical program). An electrician or journeyman license is a plus.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year in industrial maintenance or equivalent experience is required, with specific expertise in hydraulics, welding, and compressed air systems.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency is necessary for logging information, processing work orders, and completing documentation. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication abilities and basic math skills are essential for successful job performance.

Physical Requirements:
  • Capability to lift, push, and pull weights up to 75 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently.
  • Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods, up to 12 hours daily.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights, utilizing ladders and lifts.
  • Frequent overhead work and physical tasks, including bending and stooping.
  • Adaptability to varying temperatures, both indoors and outdoors.
