Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Technical Program Manager to become a vital part of our dynamic engineering team. This position presents a unique chance to oversee and manage intricate, multi-disciplinary engineering initiatives. You will collaborate closely with experts across various engineering domains and be instrumental in the successful execution of our most ambitious technical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex engineering initiatives.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, quality assurance, and other engineering divisions to ensure project success.
3. Create comprehensive project plans that outline objectives, timelines, budgets, and required resources.
4. Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and challenges, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
5. Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and modifications.
6. Drive enhancements and efficiencies within the engineering department.
7. Cultivate a culture of innovation, quality, and customer focus within the team.
8. Ensure all project outputs meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
2. At least 5 years of experience in technical project management, ideally within the aerospace and defense sector.
3. Proven success in managing and delivering complex engineering projects on schedule and within budget.
4. Strong technical understanding, with the ability to articulate complex engineering concepts and solutions.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
6. Strong analytical skills and the capacity to make critical decisions under pressure.
7. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
8. PMP or equivalent certification is advantageous.
9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
10. Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
