Nursing Coordinator

Hawthorne Foundation Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and passionate Nursing Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing all health-related services for our IRA group homes, Day Habilitation Program, Hawthorne Country Day School, and the Manhattan Campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and instruct all staff members who provide health-related care.
- Develop and implement training programs for personnel providing direct care.
- Ensure compliance with NYS OPWDD, NYSED, NYCDOE, OMIG rules, Medicaid, and regulations.
- Manage health records, immunization records, medical consultations, and reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of medical and health-related information.
Requirements:
- 5 years of nursing experience and supervisory experience in the field.
- Certification by the State of New York as a Registered Nurse.
- Knowledge of Therap System preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
