Role Responsibilities:

This role is essential in the preparation of a diverse range of meals for residents, staff, and guests. The Senior Culinary Supervisor will oversee food quality, presentation, and adherence to standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating all facets of food service and menu modifications.
  • Maintaining departmental records and ensuring effective staff training.
  • Implementing dining policies and procedures while ensuring clear communication with other service areas.
  • Upholding cleanliness and proper use of kitchen equipment and workspaces.
  • Adhering to sanitation, food handling, safety protocols, and maintaining a high standard of service.

Work Schedule:

This position requires availability Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with shifts every other weekend.

Compensation:

The starting salary will be determined based on prior experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Candidates should possess a minimum of one year of experience in a large-scale food service environment. Knowledge of HACCP and OSHA standards is essential. The role requires the ability to act independently in both routine and emergency situations, maintain positive relationships with residents and staff, and manage time efficiently.
