Director of Nursing Opportunity

The Laurels of Chagrin Falls is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and STNAs.
  • Conduct regular resident rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality of care and services provided.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care and services.
  • Participate in the budget process and maintain control over nursing supply, equipment, and staffing budgets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in long-term care and geriatric nursing.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
  • Current certification in nursing specialty desired.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
