Director of Nursing Opportunity at The Laurels of Chagrin Falls

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department at The Laurels of Chagrin Falls. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the nursing department to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and STNAs
  • Conduct resident rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care
  • Ensure proper charting and documentation of care and medications
  • Participate in the budget process and maintain the nursing supply, equipment, and staffing budgets
  • Stay current with applicable managed care, Medicare, and state Medicaid regulations
  • Participate in the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • Director of Nursing or management experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric nursing
  • Additional certification in a nursing specialty is desired
