Nursing Unit Manager

Canyon Transitional Rehab Center - Albuquerque, NM is seeking a skilled and dedicated Unit Manager RN to lead our nursing team. As a Unit Manager RN, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care on your assigned unit. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in maintaining a safe and effective nursing environment. Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate nursing coverage and develop strategies to improve patient outcomes.
* Participate in the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement plans to achieve patient goals and minimize rehospitalizations.
* Mentor and educate nurses, working with physicians and other medical professionals, to ensure high-quality care.
* Oversee medication management to ensure compliance with Genesis policy and regulations.
* Provide direct patient care to maintain skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements:
* Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
* Associate Degree in Nursing, three (3) years of nursing experience.
* Nursing Diploma, three (3) years of nursing experience.
* BSN, two (2) years nursing experience.
* At least one year of nurse leadership experience is required.
* Must possess current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state.
* Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
