Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to develop and implement treatment plans that promote independence and functional ability.

Responsibilities
  • Administer therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with physical, cognitive, and functional disabilities.
  • Analyze and interpret data to assess patient progress and make informed treatment decisions.
  • Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Design and implement treatment plans that promote patient independence and functional ability.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on therapy programs and goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Current MA state license as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Successful completion of national certification exam or eligibility for next sitting.
