Housekeeper - Per Diem, Long Term Care

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Windemere (WNR). As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily laundry and linen cleaning to maintain a hygienic and well-kept facility
  • Collect trash, disinfect cans, and refill paper towel and soap dispensers
  • Dust high areas, walls, and lampshades, and efficiently clean bathrooms using the 7-Step Process
  • Wet-mop floors, inspect rooms for quality control, and restock housekeeping closets
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff and other hospital departments' staff
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Excellent customer service and staff coordination skills
  • Experience in Medical or Hospitality preferred
Working Conditions

As a Housekeeper, you will be subject to frequent interruptions, be involved with patients, residents, staff, and government agencies, and be exposed to infectious waste and disease. You must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday, speak and write the English language in an understandable manner, and cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
