Respiratory Care Specialist

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Specialist to join our esteemed healthcare team. In this critical role, you will provide expert respiratory care, including administering therapeutic treatments and conducting comprehensive patient assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement tailored patient care plans.
  • Utilize advanced respiratory care techniques and equipment to enhance patient recovery and overall outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as hospital policies and protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on the latest advancements in respiratory care practices and technologies.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
  • Education: An Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care or a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program is required.
  • Licensure: A valid and unrestricted license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Washington is mandatory.
  • Experience: Clinical experience in respiratory care is preferred but not required.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials are required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient care and safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Ability to access all patient care areas and complete required respiratory care competencies.
  • Proficiency with relevant hardware, software, and computer tools essential to respiratory care.
