Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at The Alden Network. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our customers and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by our nursing assistants.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to customers, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Supervise nursing assistants and ensure they are following established policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for customers, including assessing their needs and developing goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document customer care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in continuing education programs to stay current on best practices and new developments in the field.
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN in the State of Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within two weeks of employment.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Ability to make independent decisions and work harmoniously with other personnel.
- Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
- Ability to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Ability to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people.
The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on providing high-quality customer care. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on communication and collaboration.
