Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shop Operations Manager to join our team at our Mariposa, California location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our shop, ensuring seamless execution of projects, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Protocols: Establish and maintain safety protocols to ensure all employees work safely and efficiently.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on work vehicles and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of materials and supplies.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor shop crew members to ensure they meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with upper management to plan and execute projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1 year experience managing a shop or similar role.
  • Welding Experience: 1 year experience in welding or related field.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Location

This position is located in Mariposa, California, and requires occasional travel out of town during the work week.
