Position Summary:
We are seeking a full-time CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and capable of producing detailed drawings within tight deadlines. This role involves preparing technical drawings based on diverse specifications, layouts, blueprints, and sketches. The CAD Technician will collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure project completion, following precise instructions for house placement, dimensioning, and labeling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize computer-aided design software to create accurate technical drawings.
- Coordinate with engineering and design teams to finalize project specifications.
- Follow detailed instructions for drafting, ensuring compliance with architectural files and design restrictions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Demonstrate reliability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or technical certification in CAD, or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in structural design, architecture, or construction is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Detail-oriented with a professional demeanor.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
