Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations pertinent to laboratory work, contributing to a clean and safe workplace.
  • Register incoming samples and maintain an organized record system for quality control and regulatory compliance.
  • Input sample data into the eLIMS system accurately and promptly.
  • Conduct laboratory analyses on incoming samples efficiently, ensuring turnaround time objectives are met.
  • Verify and communicate results to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Identify and report process challenges, proposing solutions to the supervisor.
  • Maintain readiness to assist clients, staff, and colleagues as needed.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with all employees, communicating effectively across departments.
  • Uphold the company's reputation through ethical business practices.
  • Continuously seek improvements in work quality through the adoption of new technologies.
  • Identify and address non-conformances and out-of-specifications.
  • Execute all tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily. The following qualifications are essential:

  • High School Diploma required.
Preferred Qualifications:

AS or BS Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline is preferred. Experience in plating, plate reading, and sample preparation is advantageous.
