Job Title: High School Building Substitute & Operations Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a High School Building Substitute & Operations Associate. This is a long-term substitute teacher role for Math - Algebra II.

Boston Prep is a college-preparatory charter public district, made up of a single-site middle and high school. Our community includes 700 students in grades 6-12, nearly 500 alumni, over 150 faculty members, and hundreds of families. Responsibilities
  • Support the Assistant Principal and Principal as needed
  • Present in the building all day, every day from 7:15am-4:15pm
  • Coverage for daily absences of teachers
  • Attend and support classes when not covering a teacher's absence
  • Assume responsibilities and provide meaningful instruction for assigned classes, in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
  • Create a classroom environment structured around scholarship where students are authentically engaged and curious
  • Assume daily tutoring responsibilities
  • Covering daily duties as needed
  • Reports to the Middle School or High School Assistant Principal
