Assistant Store Leader Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Leader to join our team at Speedway LLC. As a key member of our retail management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading and developing store employees, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching to all store employees.
  • Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity.
  • Assist in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
  • Ensure cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of the Speedy Rewards loyalty program are executed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
  • Develop and maintain excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
  • Proficiently use Microsoft products, including Word and Excel.
Requirements:
  • A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
  • The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
