We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Apartment Management Consultants. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our property buildings and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the daily repair and upkeep of the property, including preparing vacant units for occupancy.
- Inventory and maintain all supplies and equipment.
- Ensure necessary tools are on hand and secure the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday.
- Remove snow and ice as necessary and handle all lock-outs as a result of evictions.
- Respond to service requests in a timely manner and operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
Requirements:
- Ability to operate various hand tools, including power tools.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Effective communication skills and knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
- Property maintenance/handyman experience and ability to work on an on-call basis.
