Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification.
Working Conditions

This position requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent travel, and bending/stooping. The successful candidate will be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and may be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease.
