Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Frontier Management (OR). As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to our patients, promoting excellence in rehab care and interdisciplinary cooperation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients in a timely fashion, as required by state, payor source, or facility requirements
  • Screen patients upon admission and/or when requested by the director, within a timely fashion
  • Develop appropriate plans of treatment and goals for patients
  • Provide treatment as indicated by the plan of treatment developed after evaluation
  • Communicate with other disciplines and interact with staff as necessary, as indicated by the treatment plan
  • Provide routine documentation according to Medicare, facility, and other payor source guidelines
  • Participate in family conferences when requested
  • Record and submit in a timely fashion all required documentation and treatment charges, according to policy and procedure
Requirements
  • Current MA State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Must have flexibility as a person to be a part of a dynamic and cooperative team, to distribute the workload equitably and according to the individual's staff position within the department
  • Have the capability to evaluate or assess patients, participate in consultations, teaching, and meeting with all levels of residents, staff, family, and other professionals
