The Clinical Flex LPN/CMA is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and managing the daily operations of our office.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and document patient information, vital signs, and diagnostic test results to prepare for physician examination.
- Assist physicians in examinations and treatments, adhering to Infection Control Policy.
- Administer care treatments prescribed by providers within scope of practice.
- Ensure continuity of care by implementing patient treatment plans, scheduling tests and procedures, and relaying results to providers and patients.
- Serve as a patient advocate, protecting rights and addressing complaints.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families.
- Maintain professionalism by adhering to performance standards, including dress code.
- Ensure confidentiality for patients and staff.
- Stay up-to-date with education and training, adhering to Springfield Clinic policies and procedures.
- Educated as an LPN or CMA by an approved program.
- Current licensure in the state of Illinois or certification for CMA.
- CPR certification per American Heart Association guidelines required within 30 days of hire.
Works in an office setting during clinic hours, with a 50-50 sitting and standing ratio. Minimal lifting requirements, with occasional lifting for orthopedics, geriatrics, and internal medicine.
Confidentiality and ComplianceComplies with Springfield Clinic's incident reporting policy and procedures, as well as OSHA and Springfield Clinic training and accomplishments.
