- Reviews test outcomes for precision, compliance, and critical thresholds, documenting results according to institutional guidelines.
- Executes automated testing using computerized systems and automated devices.
- Performs manual testing following comprehensive protocols.
- Conducts tests and interprets findings to be communicated to patients, physicians, or registered nurses.
- Engages in Quality Assurance activities to verify the accuracy of laboratory equipment.
Minimum Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science or Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited institution is required.
Essential SkillsThe role necessitates strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the capacity to operate independently. The ability to function effectively in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
CertificationsPreferred Certifications: MT/MLS ASCP, AMT, or NCA certification is preferred.
