Structural Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Building Structural Intern to join our team at Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP. As a member of our Structural/Marine Group, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, including buildings, industrial facilities, water/wastewater plants, and waterfront facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in structural analysis and design for a range of building types and materials
  • Develop concept designs and create construction documents for clients across various markets
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects on project teams
  • Participate in staff development and training programs
Requirements:
  • Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering bachelor or master program with a focus on structural concentration
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with structural design and analysis software (RISA, STAAD, etc.) and drafting and modeling software (Revit and AutoCAD)
  • U.S. Citizenship required
